When you place an order with Type A Machines, your credit card will be immediately charged for the full value of your order. You will receive an order confirmation shortly after placing your order. Unfortunately, bank policy prevents us from authorizing a charge and then charging the card when your order ships. This is because charge authorizations expire after six or seven days and, due to long lead times, orders frequently ship more than one week after an order is placed. 30 Day Return policy
Our first priority at Type A Machines is that you love your printer. Your printer will be shipped to you after it has run a series of prints and gone through testing so that we know it works. If you do have any problems with your printer, we want to know about them so we can do our best to fix them. Please contact us with any problems you have. Your Series 1 Printer ships with a 1 year limited warranty so many issues that come up can be handled under warranty.
If you would like to return your printer within 30 days from the shipping date please contact our support team to request a Return Merchanise Authorisation (RMA) number. 3D Printers will be accepted for refund if they are in like new condition, in factory packaging, with no substantial cosmetic or accidental damage or modifications. No refunds are available after 30 days from the date of shipping. Printers returned to Type A Machines without prior approval may not be accepted. Printers returned without prior approval within 30 days from the shipping date are subject to a 40% restocking fee, as they will have to be dismantled and re-tested. Printers returned to Type A Machines without prior approval after 30 days from the original ship date will not be refunded, and Type A Machines will treat the printer as surrendered for recycling.
Unfortunately we are not able to accept returns of filament or replacement parts at this time.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Products that have been modified or damaged may not be eligible for a full refund. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your printer is not eligible for a full refund, we will contact you to ask you whether you consent to the partial refund or would prefer for us to ship your printer back to you . If you do not receive an e-mail notifying you that we have received your printer, please feel free to check in with us through our support portal.
Refunds will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, and should post within a few days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, except in cases of damage during shipping. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Refunds for Unfulfilled Orders
Type A Machines will cancel and refund any not yet shipped orders as soon as possible during business hours Pacific Standard Time when requests are sent by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Type A Machines is happy to ship to international destinations. International orders must be paid for via the wire transfer option, which may be selected at checkout. Wire transfer details will be displayed upon purchase. Taxes, duties and fees are the responsibility of the purchaser, and may be assessed by the receiving country directly to the purchaser.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to determine whether products made available for sale by Type A Machines are admissible into the import country. Purchases not admitted into the country of import will be refunded upon return receipt by Type A Machines less any shipping costs. To reduce the risk of fraud, Type A Machines will only ship international orders to the credit card billing address.
Type A Machines is a small California based company, and we're doing our best to keep our prices low. Therefore, we can‘t afford to travel to litigate. By purchasing from Type A machines, or using our website, you agree that should you have any civil disputes with Type A Machines, they will be brought in state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, and will be based solely upon California State and Federal Law.
At Type A Machines we do our best to keep the lead times published on the site current and accurate. However, lead times reflect our best estimate, and due to unforeseen circumstances, we may not always be able to meet them. Type A Machines stands behind our claims of print resolution, build volume, and all other technical specifications published by Type A Machines. Please note that these have not been rated as of yet by an independent authority. Many of our specs were collected by Andrew, as accurately as he could with the tools available to him. He is pretty accurate, but we cannot guarantee our specifications at this time. If your machine does not meet the specifications set out by us, please contact us for customer support.
