Hacker Scouts Co-Founder Gets His 2014 Series 1 3D Printer

by Kim Reyes May 12, 2014

Chris Cook, co-founder of Curiosity Hacked (née Hacker Scouts), picked up his new 2014 Series 1 3D printer at our new manufacturing facility in San Leandro this past Tuesday.

Chris (left) met our CEO Espen Sivertsen (right), and saw first hand the newly reconfigured assembly line that is ramping to ship a greater number of machines faster, resolving our current backlog. We expect it to be fully up to speed by Maker Faire on May 17, and we anticipate a lot of excitement at the show.

We are looking forward to seeing you at this weekend’s Maker Faire in San Mateo. Come by our booth to see the 2014 Series 1 in person, and you’ll see why its accessible source design is going to revolutionize the 3D printing world. If you haven’t ordered a 2014 Series 1 3d Printer yet, you may want to jump in line and get your order in now!
